Some of you may have noticed some new changes in the works. They are finally complete so I wanted to take this opportunity to officially announce the launch of my other website at http://kristinacarter.com This is where you can find the latest additions to my personal work and portraits. My personal projects are one way that you can get to know me better. I am always trying to learn as much as I can about you so that I can capture your wedding or family the way you truly are, but this way, you can get to know me and where I am coming from as well :)

I want to dedicate my current site just to weddings so that my clients can find more examples of how I will document their day or how I capture the love and fun between my couples on the wedding day or at their engagement/getting to know you session. Also, there are lots of fun ways to just show off the natural beauty of the bride during a bridal session or wait until after the wedding and we can have fun trashing the dress. There are definitely some fun and dirty pictures of trashing the dress in my new in style gallery :)

Lisa, Will & the gang

Lisa and Will are getting married in July and I am lucky enough to be a part of this special day as they publicly proclaim their love as a family. Lisa told me at our consultation that Amber made a great observation saying how lucky she was because she actually gets to see her parents get married, that really touched me. I knew it was going to be a great family to work with and I was right! We had a great time running around Grant Park and checking out the new globes that line the dock along Michigan Ave...

Lisa has a great love for life and wonderful laugh :)

Courtenay and Joe

Wow, these two really gave me a workout. I don't know the last time I laughed that hard ;) We had a blast just hanging around in downtown Hinsdale looking for fun places to goof around. I can only imagine how fun this wedding will be if everyone is as fun as these two!

I can take a picture but I can't make someone look at their fiance they way Joe looks at Courtenay. Gotta love that!

Nicholas and Anneliese

Yesterday I spent some time with Nicholas and Anneliese. I haven't seen them since last summer so it was fun to spend some time just hanging out again! We explored and chased ducks and spied on a water wheel...all good stuff and all opportunties to capture these kids being themselves.
